Whether Bridgeport residents will notice it remains to be seen, but their drinking water will soon be different. Thanks to a decision by the Clarksburg Water Board Tuesday evening, fluoride will no longer be purchased and included in the water supply.

The Water Board voted 2-1 to make the move. The City of Bridgeport, like others, purchase their water from Clarksburg and pass that on to city customers.
